Norwin School District will once again be offering free sports physicals for any student entering grades 7 through 12 wishing to try out for a school sponsored sport for the 2019-2020 school year. Physicals will be overseen by Daniel Medic, D.O. with the assistance of residents from Seton Hill University and our Norwin Sports Medicine Staff. These physicals will be held on Thursday June 6, 2019 at Norwin High School (please use the main entrance of the building).
Appointment times are assigned based on the student’s grade for the 2019-2020 school year. Families with multiple student athletes should come to the earliest applicable time slot(s). ImPACT Baseline Testing will once again be offered, free of charge, immediately following the student’s physical for all students entering 7th, 9th, and 11th grades and any student who was not tested last school year for a sport. Students who do not attend on June 6th will be offered an ImPACT Baseline Test at another time prior to the start of their season (this will be scheduled through the head coach of each sport).
Family ID Registration is not needed prior to the June 6th offering of physicals. Family ID registration will be available beginning on June 1, 2019. Additionally, you DO NOT need to print or bring Section 6 form with you on the 6th – you will be given one when you check in.
